In July 2011, we achieved the business consolidation with Uni Device Corporation acquiring Samsung Electronics business. The consolidation will make the new Marubun Semicon Corporation a stronger company which will better serve customers and strengthen the relationship with Samsung Japan Corporation.

Marubun Semicon was launched in March 2005 as a specialized agent of Samsung Japan Corporation.

Our special role is to link Samsung, a leading global semiconductor manufacturer, with customers, and to assist customers in solving any issues they may have. To ensure that we are able to do this, we continuously take the perspective of our customers, accurately assess their true needs, and devise optimal solutions with superior added value, all with a focus on Samsung Electronics’ products.

As needs become more and more diversified and segmented, and the electronics industry becomes increasingly high-tech, it is critical that we are not only able to quickly assess market and technical trends as they change from day to day, but also that we meet the needs of the times, including appropriate handling of environmental and energy-saving issues.
